Seniors’ Mobility and Enabling Fund (SMF)
AIC administers SMF support for approved mobility and assistive devices. Its criteria include age 60 or above, citizenship or permanent residency, residence requirements, means testing and assessment by an approved healthcare professional.
Discuss the appropriate application route with the therapist or medical social worker involved in your care, or contact AIC. AIC states that approval must be obtained before buying the device: purchases made in advance cannot be reimbursed under SMF. The exact device category and any additional assessment requirements must be confirmed.

Availability and funding
We have not confirmed Exo Motion as an SMF-approved device or appointed supplier. Published subsidy rates for approved equipment must not be treated as a discount on Exo Motion. Get written confirmation from AIC or the responsible care organisation before making a purchase on the assumption of funding.

Think about the complete journey
For an enquiry from Tampines, Jurong, Toa Payoh or another neighbourhood, explain the journey that matters to you: getting around the estate, visiting a community centre or enjoying a walk with family. Discuss fitting, comfort, rest breaks and charging. Local demonstrations, stock and servicing arrangements require confirmation before booking.

Questions before you decide
Can I receive an automatic SMF discount?
No. Neither your eligibility nor product coverage has been confirmed by this website. The responsible agency decides the application.
Can a family member make the initial enquiry?
Yes. Share the country, general walking goal and contact details. Keep identity documents and medical records for the appropriate official assessment process.
